Introduction

Hello everyone,

Welcome to the blog space of the website! This is where I'll be posting my thoughts for the world to see, a scary yet exciting prospect. For now I just wanted to introduce myself and invite you to explore the rest of this website. My name is Garrett Ley and this is my first shot at building a website. This blog of course is hosted on Blogger and not on this site itself, but that seemed to be the best way to get this up and running for now. If things go well, I promise to try to learn how to set up an independent blog that can be located right here. 

This first task sort of embodies what I want this site to be, a place for renewal. As I learn more about website design, I want to be able to come back here and practice. The layout isn't the only thing that will change though. On the other pages of this site you'll find some lists of things I like or things I've done. These things will constantly be changing as I change so you can kind of follow along with that change by checking out this space every once in awhile.

As you can see below, you can click on the "Post Comment" link to leave a comment on a post. I encourage you to do so, particularly once these posts contain my opinions. I want to hear what people think and get a chance to respond to them.
